APRIL FOOLS! Or at least it was last year.
This year, on April 1st, PocketPair announced the official coming release of their Pal-based dating sim. Most people reacted with the same doubt that I did, until everybody took a closer look.
There is, in fact, a Steam listing for the game. There is a ToS measure that states the game must be a real game, must have regular updates and maintenance for it to remain valid and be listed. This absolutely does imply that the game will be a real thing.
This came accompanied by a generic, confused, and cringing reaction from the general masses, opening up the company to the internet’s rules that had already been rampaging across the Web. Of course, this proves, once again, that no matter the content, the denizens of the internet will find a way to turn it into porn. In this case, however, it lends further to those with kink tendencies… and as another of our fans commented during the show, furry tendencies.
All around, my thoughts are that this is going to be a troll game. They’ll publish it, it may be an hour or three of gameplay, but it wont be serious, it wont be taken serious, and it will just be thrown out for like $5-$10, and PocketPair will rake in the green for the value of a joke.
